The Birth of Bitchie Buddha

My chapter is pretty simple, I have always loved being creative and finding fun projects to do in my house on my days off. In 2019 my mom bought me a Cricut machine and at first it was a foreign language, but I continued to learn and discover all the amazing things that could be done.

When the pandemic hit, similar to many people, I started to rethink the rest of my working life. At that time I learned how to make candles and things just evolved from there. In October of 2021, I left the only job I knew as an optician. I honestly had no idea what was next, but I did know I wanted to use my love for crafting and energy into a business I could call my own.

I then started attending Reiki classes, if you are unfamiliar with what Reiki is, definitely check out my "What is Reiki?" blog post. After a few classes I eventually became a Master Certified Reiki Healer. During a session, back in December of 2021, my teacher said "someday you will own your own store". Now at this time, I was only attending artisan events and selling my own products, therefore I laughed but somewhere deep down I knew it was what I was meant to do.

So, here we are. Strange thing is, I already believed and visualized being the owner of a shop. I visualized the products, design, brand, and what I was going to wear on opening day!

I can't wait to meet all of my future customers, clients, and artisans who will be part of it.

Remember, it is never too late and you are never too old to begin again.
